I first met Amberlake (Nick Tsang, producer/singer and Emma Lauran, singer) at Camden Assembly in early 2019 when they were supporting Scott Quinn (an evening which was also my first encounter with Lili Caseley). There was something truly special in their performance, it was so fresh – the project was brand new – and so polished at the same time. Amberlake got quite a lot of exposure when their sublime cover of Moloko’s “Time Is Now” was used in a popular TV show (Love Island). I’ve kept on following their evolution and when they released “Moment of weakness” I immediately playlisted the song. I can’t wait for their next epic tunes. They’re destined to something great!

J’ai rencontré pour la première fois Amberlake (Nick Tsang, producteur/chanteur et Emma Lauran, chanteuse) au Camden Assembly début 2019, alors qu’ils assuraient la première partie de Scott Quinn (une soirée qui a également été ma première rencontre avec Lili Caseley). Il y avait quelque chose de vraiment spécial dans leur performance, c’était si frais – le projet était tout nouveau – et si poli en même temps. Amberlake a été très médiatisé lorsque leur sublime reprise de “Time Is Now” de Moloko a été utilisée dans une émission de télévision populaire (Love Island). J’ai continué à suivre leur évolution et lorsqu’ils ont sorti “Moment of weakness”, j’ai immédiatement playlisté la chanson. J’ai hâte de découvrir leurs prochains morceaux épiques. Ils sont promis à un grand avenir !
