My first encounter with Florence Sabeva dates back to the mid 2000s when I was promoting gigs in Mons, Belgium. She was playing keyboards in a band co-founded by a dear friend of mine, Fabrice – Boods – Baudour, called Starving. She moved to London a few months before me, in early 2015 and we stayed in touch through her various projects (function bands, guest performer, her own productions,…). She invited me to the premiere at Flanders House of her album The London Sessions, which includes a magnificent song feat. the deep voice of Tom Wilcox: Corps Impatients, which you might have heard on CMF Radio. I invite you to also check out Forgotten Stories (see Youtube video below) and Flo’s other productions as well as her film scoring & arrangements for other artists. Keep an eye on her forthcoming releases.
