- Catherine Bush reached her first UK number one with her first single "Wuthering Heights" in 1978.
- She has released 25 UK Top 40 singles, 10 of which reached the Top 10.
- Her 10 studio albums all reached the UK Top 10, and all but one reached the Top 5, including the UK number one albums Never for Ever (1980), Hounds of Love (1985) and The Whole Story (1986).
- She was the first British solo artist to top the UK album chart.
- She was the first female artist to enter the album chart at number one.
