"You Should Be Dancing" is a song by the Bee Gees. It was released in 1976 as part of their album Children of the World. The song was a huge hit, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the US Hot Dance Club Play Chart for seven weeks. In September of the same year, it also reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and number four on the Billboard Soul Chart. The song was the first to launch the Bee Gees into disco and was the group's only song to top the Dance chart.
