Nicolas Di Pietro aka DJ Paupiette is a DJ and electronic music producer from Saint-Ghislain in Belgium.
He was introduced to techno music at a very young age by his godfather who brought him (on cassette tapes) DJ sets recordings from the Boccacio, Cherry Moon and Lagoa, among other famous nightclubs.
He started behind the decks in a few regional bars, where he met Urban C who gave him the opportunity to play at Decadance in Gent with his NoClab concept.
DJ Paupiette favours industrial techno but he’s very eclectic in his productions. Sometimes dark and violent, sometimes sweet and melancholic, music has always been his way to release emotions.
