Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in 2001 in Wilmette, Illinois. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. After releasing several self-produced albums, their breakout mainstream success came with the release of their third album, “From Under the Cork Tree,” in 2005. The album’s lead single, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down,” reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and propelled the band to international fame. They continued to release successful albums and singles, including “Thnks fr th Mmrs,” “Dance, Dance,” and “Centuries.” Fall Out Boy has won multiple awards and has been nominated for several Grammy Awards. Their unique blend of pop-punk and emo has influenced many artists in the genre.
