Saosin is a post-hardcore band from Newport Beach, California, founded in 2003. They gained popularity with their self-titled debut album in 2006, which featured the single “Seven Years” and reached #22 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band members have gone through many changes over the years, with only lead vocalist Anthony Green appearing on the first three albums. Chris Sorenson took over on bass for the band’s second album, “In Search of Solid Ground,” which was released in 2009. The band went on hiatus in 2010, with Green pursuing a solo career, but reformed in 2013 with original guitarist Beau Burchell taking over vocals. They released their third album, “Along the Shadow,” in 2016 with a new lineup featuring guitarist Justin Shekoski and drummer Alex Rodriguez. Saosin is known for their heavy guitar riffs, emotional lyrics, and powerful live performances.
