The Dear Hunter is a progressive rock band formed in 2005 by musician Casey Crescenzo. Growing up in a musical family, Casey was exposed to many different genres and instruments, which led to his diverse musical approach. The band’s first album, “Act I: The Lake South, The River North,” was released in 2006, setting the stage for their ambitious concept album series, “The Acts.” With each subsequent release, the band continued to push boundaries and experiment with different sounds, incorporating elements of rock, folk, orchestral arrangements, and theatricality.
