Ana Gabriel, born on December 10th, 1955 in Sinaloa, Mexico, is a Mexican singer-songwriter who has sold over 30 million records worldwide. Gabriel started her music career at the age of six and performed in local festivals. In 1977 she signed a contract with CBS Mexico, releasing her debut album entitled “Un Estilo”. She gained popularity for her mix of Latin pop, Mariachi and Ranchera music. She has released over 20 albums and won various awards, including Latin Grammy awards. She is known for her powerful voice and emotional lyrics, and for being a strong advocate for human rights and social causes. She is still actively touring and performing today.
