Audrey Assad is an American singer-songwriter and contemporary Christian music artist. Born in New Jersey to a Syrian refugee father and American mother, she grew up in a household steeped in music and faith. Audrey first gained recognition with her debut album “The House You’re Building” in 2010. She has since released five studio albums, earning critical acclaim for her introspective lyrics and haunting vocals. Audrey has also collaborated with several other artists, including Matt Maher, Chris Tomlin, and Andrew Peterson. Along with her music career, she is also a speaker and author, focusing on topics such as faith, identity, and mental health.
