Bastille is a British indie pop band founded in 2010 by singer and songwriter Dan Smith. The band consists of Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson and Chris Wood. They gained widespread popularity with their debut single “Pompeii” in 2013. Their debut album “Bad Blood” was a commercial success and propelled them to international fame. In 2016 they released their second album “Wild World” which continued their success with hit singles such as “Good Grief”. They have been nominated for numerous awards and have won several, including the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act. Bastille is known for their unique sound which combines indie pop with electronic and alternative elements. They continue to tour and release new music to this day.
