Better Than Ezra is an American alternative rock band formed in 1988 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The group is composed of Kevin Griffin on vocals and guitar, Tom Drummond on bass, and Michael Jerome on drums. They gained popularity in the 1990s with songs like “Good,” “Desperately Wanting,” and “At the Stars.” Better Than Ezra has released eight studio albums, including their debut album “Surprise” in 1989, and their most recent album “All Together Now” in 2014. The band has toured extensively and has opened for acts such as Hootie & the Blowfish and Barenaked Ladies. In addition to their music career, Better Than Ezra has also been involved in philanthropic efforts, including their Foundation for Cancer Research and Music Forward Foundation.
