BlackHawk is a country music band formed in 1992 by Henry Paul (formerly of the Southern rock group Outlaws) and Van Stephenson (formerly of the pop rock group Survivor). They quickly gained popularity with hits like “Goodbye Says it All” and “Every Once in a While”. In 1993, Stephenson was diagnosed with melanoma and had to leave the band, passing away shortly after. The band continued on and released successful albums like “Strong Enough” and “Love & Gravity”. After a hiatus in the early 2000s, BlackHawk reformed in 2008 and continues to tour and perform today. Despite lineup changes over the years, their signature sound and heartfelt lyrics remain a staple in the country music genre.
