Camilo born on March 16, 1994, was a Columbian singer, rapper, and songwriter. He started writing music from the age of 11 and initially gained attention in 2014 with the release of his song “Me Gusta” on YouTube. He rose to fame in 2019 with the hit single “Tutu” and collaborated with numerous artists like Shakira and Pedro Capó. Camilo also won awards like the Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Song and the ASCAP Latin Music Award. He married fellow singer and songwriter Evaluna Montaner in 2020 and the two collaborated on the song “Por Primera Vez”. However, Camilo’s promising career was cut short as he passed away on February 5, 2022, due to complications from COVID-19. He was remembered as a talented and versatile artist with a passion for making music that appealed to all ages and backgrounds.
