Carlos Rivera is a multi-talented Mexican singer, songwriter, and actor. Born in Huamantla, Tlaxcala in 1986, he began his career at a young age while participating in several talent shows. In 2004, he participated in the third season of Mexican reality show “La Academia,” where he finished as the runner-up. He released his first album, “Carlos Rivera,” in 2006 and continued to record chart-topping songs such as “Te Me Vas” and “La Malagueña.” Rivera is also an accomplished actor, having starred in several stage productions, including the lead role in “The Lion King” in Mexico. In 2016, he represented Mexico in the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, where he won several awards.
