Charlie Puth is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born in December 1991 in Rumson, New Jersey. Puth grew up playing classical piano and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He gained recognition with his collaboration on the song “See You Again” for the movie “Furious 7” and his debut single “Marvin Gaye”. Puth released his debut album, “Nine Track Mind,” in 2016 and later released “Voicenotes” in 2018. He has also co-written songs for other artists, including “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber and “Lips on You” by Maroon 5. Puth has been nominated for several awards and has won Billboard Music Awards and ASCAP Pop Music Awards. He is known for his falsetto range and blend of pop, R&B, and soul music. Puth continues to produce and release new music while also collaborating with other artists.
