Crowded House formed in 1985 in Melbourne, Australia. The band consisted of members Neil Finn, Paul Hester, and Nick Seymour. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1986 and received critical acclaim in both Australia and internationally. In 1991, after the release of their third album, Woodface, Hester left the band and was replaced by drummer Peter Jones. The band disbanded in 1996, but reunited in 2007 to tour and release their sixth album, Time on Earth. The band has had numerous hits throughout their career, including “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Weather with You.” Sadly, Hester passed away in 2005, but the band continues to tour and record with new members. In 2020, they released their seventh studio album, Dreamers Are Waiting.
