Damso is a Belgian-Congolese rapper born in Kinshasa in 1992. He started his professional music career with his debut album entitled “Batterie Faible” in 2016. The album was a success, with hits such as “BruxellesVie” and “Mosaïque Solitaire.” Damso quickly became a key player in the French rap scene and collaborated with some of the biggest names such as Booba and Kalash. In 2018, his album “Lithopédion” was certified triple platinum in France. He is widely admired for his introspective and poetic lyrics. Damso also faced controversy due to his provocative lyrics and was excluded from the national football team’s official anthem in 2018. Despite this, he remains a popular artist with a loyal fanbase and continues to produce critically acclaimed music.
