David Rees is a writer, cartoonist, and television host known for his wit and humor. Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Rees developed a love for art at a young age and went on to study painting at Oberlin College. After graduation, he pursued a career in cartooning and became the creator of the popular comic strip “Get Your War On.” Rees gained further fame as the host of the National Geographic Channel series “Going Deep with David Rees,” which explored the science and engineering behind everyday activities.
