Duman is a Turkish rock band formed in Istanbul in 1999. The band consists of Kaan Tangöze (vocalist), Batuhan Mutlugil (guitarist), Ari Barokas (bassist) and Cengiz Baysal (drummer). Their music style is a fusion of Anatolian melodies, alternative rock, and Turkish folk music. Duman gained popularity with their debut album “Eski Köprünün Altında” in 2001 and broke into mainstream with their third album “Belki Alışman Lazım” in 2005. They have released ten studio albums and won various awards including two Golden Butterfly Awards. Duman is considered one of the most successful and influential rock bands in Turkey and has a significant fan base in Turkey and abroad.
