Fonseca is a Colombian musician, songwriter, and producer born in Bogotá in 1979. He began playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager, influenced by salsa and traditional Colombian music. He released his debut album, “Fonseca,” in 2002, which became a commercial and critical success in Colombia. He has since released several more albums, including the Grammy-nominated “Ilusión,” and has collaborated with artists such as Juanes and Carlos Vives. His music blends elements of pop, rock, and folk with Latin rhythms, and his lyrics often reflect social and political issues. He has won numerous awards, including several Latin Grammy Awards, and continues to be one of Colombia’s most popular and influential musicians.
