Frank Ocean was born in Long Beach, California in 1987. Growing up, he battled with poverty, but found solace in music. He started his career as a ghostwriter for several renowned artists including Justin Bieber, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. In 2011, he dropped his debut mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra that made him popular. Two years later, his highly successful album “Channel ORANGE” helped him secure six Grammy nominations. In 2016, Frank released his long-awaited album “Blonde.” Frank is not only known for his musical talent but also his advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. He’s openly bisexual and actively fights for LGBTQ+ rights. Frank’s distinctive blend of R&B, soul, and jazz has earned him a devoted following and an illustrious music career.
