Gin Blossoms formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona, and released their debut album, “Dusted,” in 1989. The band gained mainstream success after their hit single “Hey Jealousy” was released in 1992, followed by other hits like “Found Out About You” and “Til I Hear It From You.” The band underwent some lineup changes over the years, including the tragic death of guitarist Doug Hopkins in 1993. Despite this, they continued to release albums and tour, with their most recent album, “Mixed Reality,” debuting in 2018. The band has had a lasting impact on the alternative rock and power pop genres, and has continued to be a fan favorite for over three decades.
