Gretchen Wilson is an American country music singer-songwriter who was born on June 26, 1973, in Pocahontas, Illinois. She began singing at a young age and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in the late 1990s to pursue her music career. Her debut single, “Redneck Woman,” was a massive hit and won her a Grammy Award. Wilson went on to release several albums, including “Here for the Party” and “All Jacked Up.” She has sold over 8 million records worldwide and has received numerous awards throughout her career. In addition to her music, Wilson has also appeared on several TV shows, including “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and “The Apprentice.” She continues to tour and release new music.
