Hot Chelle Rae is an American pop rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005. The band is composed of Ryan Follesé, Nash Overstreet, and Ian Keaggy. They gained widespread recognition in 2011 with their hit single “Tonight Tonight.” The song reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to achieve double platinum status. Hot Chelle Rae continued to release successful singles throughout the next few years, including “I Like It Like That” and “Don’t Say Goodnight.” In 2014, the band went on hiatus to pursue individual projects. They reunited in 2019 and released a new single “I Hate LA” the following year. Hot Chelle Rae has been noted for their catchy hooks and upbeat pop sound, making them a fan favorite in the pop rock genre.
