Intoxicados was an Argentine rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 2000. Led by singer/guitarist Pity Álvarez, the band gained popularity with their debut album, “No Es Solo Rock and Roll,” which fused rock, reggae, and ska. They released several more albums over the next decade, such as “Otros Carnavales,” “El Exilio de las Especies,” and “Buena Vida y el Diablo,” all of which showcased their eclectic sound and honest lyrics. However, in 2010, the band went on hiatus due to Pity’s personal struggles, and they never officially reunited. Despite their short-lived career, Intoxicados left a lasting impact on the Argentine rock scene and inspired countless fans with their music.
