Kehlani Ashley Parrish, known mononymously as Kehlani, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Born on April 24, 1995, in Oakland, California, she began her music career at a young age, joining the group Poplyfe in 2011 and reaching the finals of America’s Got Talent. After leaving the group, Kehlani pursued a solo career, releasing her first mixtape, “Cloud 19,” in 2014. The mixtape garnered critical acclaim and led to her signing with Atlantic Records. Over the years, she has released several successful projects, including her debut album, “SweetSexySavage,” in 2017.
