La Ley is a Chilean rock band that was formed in 1987. The founding members were Andrés Bobe, Mauricio Clavería, Beto Cuevas, Luciano Rojas, and Rodrigo Aboitiz. They released their debut album, “Desiertos,” in 1989, which achieved moderate success. However, it was their second album, “Doble Opuesto,” that propelled them to international recognition. The album featured their hit single “Tejedores de Ilusión,” which topped the charts in several Latin American countries. Over the years, La Ley continued to release successful albums, such as “Invisible” and “Vertigo.” They experimented with various musical styles, including alternative rock and electronic music, and became known for their powerful live performances. Although they went through several lineup changes, La Ley remained a popular and influential band throughout their career.
