Lalo Mora, born in Hidalgo del Parral, Mexico in 1944, is a renowned Mexican singer and songwriter. He began playing guitar and singing at a young age and formed his first band, Los Madrugadores, at only 13 years old. In the 1970s, he found success as a solo artist with hit songs such as “Mi Casa Nueva” and “El Rey de Mil Coronas.” Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards and accolades, including induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame. Despite facing personal struggles, such as battles with addiction, Mora has continued to create and perform music for over five decades and remains a beloved icon in Mexican music.
