Mayday Parade is an American rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 2005. With five members consisting of Derek Sanders, Brooks Betts, Alex Garcia, Jake Bundrick, and Jeremy Lenzo, the band signed with Fearless Records in 2006 and released their debut EP, Tales Told by Dead Friends. The following year, their debut studio album, A Lesson in Romantics, was released and peaked at number eight on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. They have since released six more studio albums, toured extensively, and gained a devoted fanbase. Known for their catchy choruses and emotional lyrics, Mayday Parade has become a staple in the pop punk/alternative rock scene.
