Mötley Crüe is a heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California which was formed in 1981. The group members include Nikki Sixx on bass guitar, Mick Mars on lead guitar, Vince Neil on vocals, and Tommy Lee on drums. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Mötley Crüe gained a following with their high-energy performances and rebellious image. They released several successful albums, including “Shout at the Devil” and “Dr. Feelgood”. The band members struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, leading to lineup changes, hiatuses, and legal troubles. In 2015, after a farewell tour, Mötley Crüe officially announced their retirement from touring. Their legacy as one of the most influential bands in heavy metal continues to inspire new generations of musicians today.
