Pop Smoke was a rapper and songwriter born in Brooklyn, New York in 1999. He initially gained fame with the release of his breakout single “Welcome to the Party” in 2019. He quickly became one of the most exciting young voices in the rap world, known for his deep, gravelly voice and dark, aggressive lyrics. Unfortunately, his promising career was cut short when he was tragically murdered during a home invasion in Los Angeles in February 2020, just a few weeks after the release of his second studio album, “Meet the Woo 2”. Despite his untimely death, Pop Smoke’s impact on the rap world cannot be denied, and his music continues to be celebrated and listened to by fans around the world.
