R. City is a duo from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands consisting of brothers Theron and Timothy Thomas. They began their music career in the early 2000s as songwriters and producers for several notable artists such as Akon, Rihanna, and Ciara. In 2015, they released their debut single “Locked Away” featuring Adam Levine which reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100. They later released their full-length album, “What Dreams Are Made Of” in 2017. R. City has won several awards including ASCAP’s “Songwriters of the Year” award in 2016. They continue to write and produce music for themselves and other artists.
