Silent Sanctuary is a five-piece Filipino band formed in Manila in 2001. Known for their unique blend of rock, classical, and ballad influences, the band consists of Sarkie Sarangay on vocals, Chino David on violin and backup vocals, Anjo Inacay on cello, Jason Rondero on bass guitar, and Allen Calixto on drums. They gained popularity with their hits “Ikaw Lamang” and “Pasensya Ka Na,” which topped the local charts in the early 2010s. Aside from their impressive music, the band is also known for their mysterious stage presence and penchant for wearing masks during live performances. With six full-length albums and countless hit songs under their belt, Silent Sanctuary has established themselves as one of the most unique and respected acts in the Philippine music scene.
