He is known for his distinctive southern sound, smooth flow, and social activism. T.I. has released ten studio albums, starred in several movies and TV shows, and has won three Grammy Awards. He has also had criminal controversies in his life including, drug possession, firearms possession, and identity theft. Despite his legal troubles, T.I. has maintained his place in the music industry, collaborating with artists such as Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and Lil Wayne, and launching his own record labels.
