The Chainsmokers are an American DJ and production duo consisting of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. They rose to fame in 2014 with their hit song “#Selfie”. Pall and Taggart first met in 2012, and started making music together soon after. Their debut EP “Bouquet” was released in 2015, and included the hit single “Roses”. The Chainsmokers have collaborated with numerous artists such as Halsey, Coldplay, and Daya. They have won several awards including a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2017. Their genre of music is a mix of pop, EDM, and indie. The duo continues to produce chart-topping hits and perform all over the world.
