The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The group initially consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, and bassist Clint Warwick. In the mid-1960s, they gained popularity with their distinctive fusion of rock and classical music, highlighted by their breakthrough 1967 album “Days of Future Passed.” The Moody Blues went on to release a string of successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including “In Search of the Lost Chord” and “Long Distance Voyager.” They continue to perform and record to this day, with their music remaining influential and beloved by fans worldwide.
