The Neighbourhood is an American alternative rock band formed in 2011 in Newbury Park, California. The band members include Jesse Rutherford, Zach Abels, Jeremy Freedman, Mikey Margott, and Brandon Fried. Their debut single “Female Robbery” gained popularity and was followed by the release of their full-length album “I Love You” in 2013. The album featured their hit single “Sweater Weather”, which received widespread acclaim and became a top 10 hit in the United States. The Neighbourhood has since released three more albums, including “Wiped Out!” in 2015, “The Neighbourhood” in 2018, and “Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones” in 2020. They have toured and performed at various music festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza, and continue to be a popular and influential force in alternative rock music.
