The Rolling Stones are a British rock band formed in London in 1962. The original line-up consisted of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, and Ian Stewart. Known for their rebellious image, the band was heavily influenced by blues and R&B music. They have released over 25 studio albums and sold over 240 million records worldwide. Hits like “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and “Sympathy for the Devil” made them one of the most successful and legendary bands in music history. Despite several lineup changes over the years, the core of The Rolling Stones remains Jagger and Richards, who are still actively performing and touring. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
