The Seekers are an Australian folk music group formed in 1962. The original lineup consisted of Athol Guy, Keith Potger, Bruce Woodley, and Judith Durham. They quickly gained popularity in Australia and eventually signed with EMI Records. Their signature sound was a blend of folk, pop, and gospel music. In 1965, they achieved international success with their hit single “I’ll Never Find Another You.” They went on to release several more successful singles and albums, including “Georgy Girl,” which reached number one on the US charts in 1967. Despite lineup changes over the years, The Seekers have remained a beloved and influential group in the folk music genre.
