Therapy? is an alternative rock band from Northern Ireland, formed in 1989. The band was originally a punk outfit called The Buzz, but changed their name after signing to A&M Records and releasing their debut album, “Babyteeth” in 1991. Led by vocalist/guitarist Andy Cairns, Therapy? quickly gained a following for their unique blend of punk, metal, and pop influences, as showcased on their breakthrough album, “Troublegum” in 1994. The album’s singles, including “Die Laughing” and “Nowhere”, received heavy radio airplay and helped Therapy? achieve commercial success. Over the years, the band has continued to release critically acclaimed albums, such as “Infernal Love” in 1995 and “A Brief Crack of Light” in 2012. Known for their energetic live performances and introspective lyrics, Therapy? has become one of the most respected and influential acts in the alternative rock genre.
