Tokio Hotel is a German rock band formed in 2001 by twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer. They gained international fame with their 2005 album “Schrei,” which went platinum in Germany and Austria. Their success continued with the albums “Zimmer 483,” “Scream” and “Humanoid.” The band’s image and style evolved from gothic and emo to a more pop-oriented sound. Their success in Europe brought them to the United States, where they performed on popular TV shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Despite a hiatus in 2010, the band returned in 2014 with the album “Kings of Suburbia.” They continue to tour and create music that resonates with fans worldwide.
