Anton Zaslavski, better known as Zedd, is a Russian-German DJ, producer, and musician born on September 2, 1989. He began playing piano at four years old and started producing electronic music at the age of 16. In 2012, Zedd signed with Interscope Records and released his debut album, Clarity, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. Throughout his career, Zedd has collaborated with numerous artists including Selena Gomez, Alessia Cara, and Katy Perry. He is best known for his hits “Stay the Night,” “Clarity,” and “The Middle.” In addition to his musical career, Zedd is also involved in philanthropy, and in 2017 he founded the Zedd Student Scholarship program which provides financial aid for music production students. Zedd continues to be a prominent figure in the EDM community and a driving force in the industry.
