Ian Stuart Donaldson, born on August 11, 1957, was a prominent figure in the white power rock movement, known for his involvement with the band Skrewdriver. On September 24, 1993, at the age of 36, Donaldson met a tragic end.

Donaldson was driving his car home on the A386 near his residence in Derbyshire, England. It was around 11 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle in wet road conditions and collided head-on with an oncoming truck. The impact resulted in severe injuries for Donaldson, and despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tragic accident occurred just a few months after Skrewdriver disbanded and Ian Stuart Donaldson started a new band, called Ian Stuart & Rough Justice. He had been involved in the white power movement for over a decade and was continuously promoting his far-right beliefs through his music.

Following Donaldson’s death, his funeral took place on October 2, 1993, in Chiswick, West London. His burial was attended by hundreds of mourners, including several high-profile figures from the white power movement.

Despite his controversial past and involvement with extremist ideologies, Ian Stuart Donaldson left a significant impact on the white power music scene. His death was mourned by many within the movement, and his legacy continues to inspire and fuel the far-right music subculture.
