Yaki Kadafi, birth name Yafeu Akiyele Fula, was an American rapper and a member of the hip-hop group Outlawz. Born on October 9, 1977, in Montclair, New Jersey, Kadafi was a close friend and protégé of the influential rapper Tupac Shakur.

On November 10, 1996, just two months after Tupac’s untimely death, Yaki Kadafi was tragically killed in a mysterious incident in Irvington, New Jersey.
