Baltic Studios is an exceptional recording studio located in the creative heart of East London. Since the studio’s inception in 2012, Baltic has housed many now legendary albums from artists such as Bjork, Skepta, Thurston Moore, Paloma Faith, James Bay, Jessie Ware, MIA and more. The studio is located in the Sheldon Building, situated at 1, Kingsland Road, De Beauvoir Town, Haggerston, in the London Borough of Hackney.
Although cosy and intimate, the studio is large enough to accommodate full album sessions. A generously-sized live room (big enough for small orchestral sessions) is complemented by a control room and three booth rooms for isolation. Centred around a custom SSL G Series Console, the control room has an extraordinary array of classic outboard gear. Combined with top of the range monitoring (ATC) and acoustics designed by the legendary Nick Whitaker, Baltic Studios is the perfect space for a diverse range of musical projects.
The studio is equipped with the latest technology to ensure a professional sound quality and a comfortable environment for recording. Baltic Studios offers a unique atmosphere and a wealth of experience for those looking to create their own musical masterpiece.
