Established in 1972, EastSide Sound is the longest running professional recording studio in downtown New York City. It features state of the art recording and mixing facilities in two studios with affordable rates starting at $85/hr to suit any budget! It is the only studio in New York with 6 iso booths and a live room, allowing 7 musicians to play at the same time but isolated (and socially distant) and with line of sight. The studio features a digitally-controlled fully analog console, the latest Pro Tools HDX DAW, a collection of vintage and new pre-amps and microphones, as well as a 1981 fully restored Steinway B grand piano with Renner action, a Fender Rhodes, a Wurlitzer, 3 drum sets, multiple amplifiers and other backline to choose from. In addition, EastSide Sound also provides a variety of services to take your recording to the next level, including sound design, vocal editing, mixing and mastering, audio post-production, jingle and voice-over work. Furthermore, the studio also offers remote recording services as well as music production and arrangement services.
