🎶 A Matter of Trust song analysis
The song addresses the difficulties of trusting relationships. She expresses that some loves are not true and are just a lie of the heart, and that it is difficult to trust someone because you risk being hurt by getting too close to the fire. The singer reassures his listener that her trust will not be betrayed and that it is important to trust each other. The lyrics also suggest that some people may have learned to adapt to the lack of trust in their relationships, but he emphasizes that true love must always be based on trust. To that end, the singer promises to keep nothing hidden and be honest with his partner and reaffirms that trust is the key to a relationship.
