Def Leppard - Short Biography

Def Leppard is a famous rock band from Sheffield, England, whose current members are Rick Savage, Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell. Formed in 1976, the band became known in the early 1980s as part of the new wave of British heavy metal. The band has been around for over 25 years with its current lineup, and Rick Allen is the one pounding the drums and setting the pace for their iconic music.

"Action" is a song that dates back to 1975 and was originally a single composed and written by the British glam rock band Sweet. A cover by Def Leppard appears on their album "Retro Active". The version recorded in 1992 was released as the B-side of "Make Love Like a Man" and contains additional hearts by Vivian Campbell and P.J. Smith. The track reached number 14 on the UK Singles Charts.
