"All Revved Up with No Place to Go" is a song from "Bat Out of Hell," the 1977 debut album by American rock singer Meat Loaf and songwriter Jim Steinman, considered one of the best-selling albums in history. The album grew out of a musical called "Neverland," which was a futuristic rock version of Peter Pan, written by Steinman for a workshop in 1974. The album was recorded in 1975-1976 at various studios, including Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York, and was produced by Todd Rundgren. It was produced by Todd Rundgren and released in October 1977 by Cleveland International/Epic Records. The album spawned two Meat Loaf sequels, "Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell" (1993) and "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose" (2006). "Bat Out of Hell" is a classic rock album that showcases Meat Loaf's powerful voice and Steinman's theatrical lyrics.
